Participation Award 2024
Here at Hobday Solutions we have the pleasure of sponsoring an Under 11’s Football team in Barnt Green. We have been sponsoring since July 2023, Gavin who is our Civil and Utility Supervisor coaches the team as his son is one of the players. Recently they have all received a participation award for their dedication and hard work over the past season. We cannot wait for next season for them to smash it all over again. Well Done Team!
Collection knitted baby clothes for Heartlands Hospital
We are collecting knitted cardigans and hats for premature babies at Heartlands Hospital. There is already a small collection started but if you are a keen knitter or have any spare time to have a go. Any donations are appreciated! Please contact us for any details or pop into the office.
Sunbelts Greener Solutions, Innovation and Technology Day
It was a time to “meet the specialist teams and experience demonstrations of the latest sustainable and innovative rental equipment from Sunbelt Rentals. Discover how technology can support the delivery of your projects while reducing environmental impact to help protect our planet.” The technology and equipment they currently have and producing gives a positive outlook, for the future in construction as well as other industries! We were able to talk to many departments and discover more on the economical and sustainable technologies, which is something we take a big part in.
Training
Our lads took part in training and refresher course of Radiodetection C.A.T and Genny. Which is designed to locate buried pipes and cables prior to any excavation keeping operators safe and allowing utility management at minimum risk and cost. The training was presented by Kevin with Sunbelt Rentals. We do regular training with our staff to keep them up-to-date on the latest technology and safety.
First Aid Renewal that our office staff and tradesmen attended back in September. Knowle and Dorridge were brilliant letting us use their home to host the training and Onsite First Aid Training for providing an excellent instructor. By the end of the three days all team were award a QNUK Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work and 10 of our team are now OFQUAL qualified first aiders!
